While the HVAC discipline is active, click the
(Connect Ducts/Pipes)
tool, and set the
Join with Tee option in the Connect
Ducts/Pipes tool settings window.
You may enter required
Tolerance.
Select the disconnected piece of duct first. Then select the duct
in the connected run.

takeoff fitting is placed joining the two ducts.
Similarly, while the plumbing discipline is active, activate the
tool and select the disconnected piece of pipe first. Then select the pipe in
the connected run.

tee fitting is placed joining the two pipes.
